Children’s Programs
IMPORTANT NOTICE: ONLY
quiet, nursing infants are allowed to be with parents in the adult sessions.
Parents will be asked to leave with the baby should he or she become noisy.
No strollers will be allowed in workshop classrooms. Please make childcare arrangements
for your babies, as their happy (or not so happy) noises are a distraction to
the speaker, the audience, and those listening to recordings after the fact.
Heritage Christian Childcare is pleased to provide top-quality nursery care
(0-2 years) for either all-day childcare, or for half the day. You must register
these childcare spaces ahead of time. Spaces may be available at the convention;
check with the Nursery staff each day.
For birth to age 2:
Full- or Half-day options available. The Nursery schedule is divided
into 2 time slots: morning or afternoon. Drop Baby off to do some shopping,
or to get the most out of your workshop sessions!
Our nursery teams consist of experienced caregivers who will share
God's love with your little ones as they minister to their physical
needs in the safe, colourful and well-equipped nursery facilities of
KCC. A "Mother's Room" is also available off of the main auditorium.
For ages 3 - Kindergarten:
Our E.C.E. qualified Preschool staff offer an assortment of activities
in the learning centers of our government-approved Preschool space.
This includes a special Kindergarten program with a variety of learning
activities and take home projects.
For grades 1-6:

If your child is enrolled in the Children's Program, it is highly
recommended that you register for the workshop Judi Vankevich will give
on Saturday afternoon (Block I) that teaches parents how to continue
using her curriculum (what the children have been learning) at home.

Learning Assistants:
If your child normally has a learning assistant accompanying him or
her for educational activities, you must supply a learning assistant
for your child to participate in the Children's Program, as we are not
equipped to offer specialized or individualized care.
Lunch:
Children registered in the ages 3-K and grades 1-6 programs will be
fed a mid-morning snack. Parents will need to collect their children
at 1:00 pm (sharp) to feed them lunch and return them to the children's
program at 2:00 pm.
